Supervisor, Periop Charge Capture

This job focuses on managing the financial aspects of procedural cases in the operating rooms, specifically related to facility charges.
Represents people leaders (hire/fire authority) with majority of time spent overseeing their area of responsibility. Achieve goals through direct and/or indirect reports.
Supervises support level employees. Sets goals and objectives for other employees within the Job Area. Develops solutions to a variety of routine problems, and escalates more complex issues to higher-level managers. Ensures policies, practices, and procedures are understood and followed by direct reports.
Audits procedural charges. Provides reporting to support charge capture and ancillary departments.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent Required
Experience: 3 or more years in a hospital administrative setting required, 1 or more years supervisory experience required.
Licensure: Medical Billing and Coding Certification and/or passage of a medical terminology course.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs.
Position Compensation Range: $23.30 - $46.60 Hourly
