As a **Security Guard - Armed Patrol Operations Government** in **Coral Gables, FL** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with the public, and provide outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas to help maintain a secure environment.

+ Report and document any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal protocols.

+ Communicate and collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency personnel as needed.

+ Maintain awareness of the surroundings and promptly address any security-related concerns.

+ Carry and operate a firearm in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and Allied Universal policies.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Have three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.

+ Possess an armed guard card or license.

+ Provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
