As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence at a utilities location. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential concerns.

+ Monitor and control access points to the location, verifying credentials and assisting authorized personnel as needed.

+ Remain alert and observant while on patrol, reporting any suspicious behavior or security-related incidents to the appropriate authorities.

+ Assist with emergency response activities, including evacuations or lockdowns, in accordance with established protocols.

+ Complete detailed and accurate reports of daily activities and incidents, maintaining clear communication with Allied Universal management and site representatives.

+ Operate and maintain assigned equipment, including radios and any provided firearms, in compliance with company policies and local regulations.

+ Participate in ongoing training and drills to remain prepared for a variety of security-related situations specific to utility locations.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Possess an armed guard card or license.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
