    About the Role

     

    Amergis is seeking a passionate Middle School ResourceSpecial Education Teacher to join our team for the remainder of the2025–2026 school year. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact bysupporting students in a resource setting, fostering academic success, andbuilding strong relationships.

    Position Details

    + Grade Level: Middle School

    + Caseload: Resource setting (details provided during interview)

    + Classroom Support: No paraprofessional support

    + Behavioral Notes: No severe behaviors; students may be disruptive or disobedient and need encouragement and engagement

    + Ideal Candidate: Someone who can connect with students, maintain a positive attitude, and be hands-on and encouraging

    Minimum Requirements

    + Valid Arizona Teaching Certification

    + Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card (FPCC)

    + Compliance with all professional standards of practice

    + Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

    + Must be at least 18 years of age
