Schedule: 37.5 student contact hours per week

Position Overview
Amergis is seeking dedicated Special Education Teachers to provide quality services to students from kindergarten through grade 12. Under the direction of the Special Education Program Administrator, you will play a vital role in planning and implementing individualized student programs. Responsibilities include delivering specialized instruction, offering tutorial assistance, and collaborating with general education staff to ensure student success.
We have multiple openings across elementary and high school levels, spanning mild to severe settings.

Requirements
+ Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university (preferred)
+ Valid state teaching certificate as required by state/district regulations
+ Minimum of one year teaching experience (preferred)
+ Eligible for a Colorado Teaching License with Special Education Generalist Endorsement
Minimum Requirements
+ Standard Elementary Teaching
+ Standard Secondary Teaching
+ Standard Special Teaching
+ Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) endorsement
+ Compliance with professional standards of practice
+ Current CPR certification (if applicable)
+ TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray (if applicable)
+ Current health certificate (per contract/state regulation)
+ Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
