    Registered Nurse (RN) – Facility Based Crisis Center

     

    Employer: RHA Health Services – Crisis Center

     

    Contract Type: 8-week assignment

     

    Start Date: December 15

     

    Pay Rate: $45-47/ hour

     

    Shift: Day Shift – Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and every other Sunday

     

    Hours: 36 hours/week

    About the Facility

    The Facility Based Crisis (FBC) Center is a 16-bed, community-based facility operating 24/7/365. It serves adults (18+) experiencing behavioral, emotional, psychological, detox, or other acute crisis stabilization needs. The FBC provides short-term intensive evaluation, treatment intervention, and behavioral management to stabilize acute or crisis situations.

    + Assessment and evaluation

    + Intensive treatment and stabilization

    + Linkage to ongoing treatment or rehabilitation services upon release

    Position Overview

    As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will:

    + Utilize nursing assessment skills and knowledge of nursing principles to monitor clients.

    + Participate in behavioral health and substance use disorder treatment.

    + Respond promptly to crises.

    + Follow supports and services indicated in the recipient’s Crisis Plan.

    + Collaborate as part of an interdisciplinary team, attend PCP meetings, and assist in plan development.

    + Comply with Controlled Substances policy and procedures, maintain accurate inventories and logs.

    + Monitor consumers for side effects and adverse reactions to medications.

    + Assist with consumer education and teaching as needed.

    Requirements

    + Minimum Experience: 2 years in behavioral health

    + Active RN license

    + Strong crisis intervention and assessment skills

    + Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

    + Candidates will complete a phone interview

    + Shift: Day Shift

    + Days: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and every other Sunday

    + Hours: 36 hours/week
