    Local Pay Rate:$55/HR

     

    Caseload: 28 students across two classrooms

     

    + Classroom 1: 14 students (7 AM / 7 PM)

    + Classroom 2: 14 students (6 AM / 8 PM)

     

    Start Date: January 5, 2026

     

    End Date: End of School Year

     

    Schedule: 8:50 AM – 3:40 PM (30-minute unpaid break)

    Locations:

    + Mon–Wed: (float between two Pre-K schools)

    + Thurs–Fri: (attend meetings and act as SPED teacher to create goals)

     

    Interview: Virtual with Director of SPED

     

    Local Pay Rate: Competitive

     

    About the Role

     

    Amergis is seeking a passionate Early Childhood SpecialEducation Teacher with LBS1 and ECE endorsement to join our team.This role involves providing specialized instruction, collaborating witheducators and families, and developing individualized goals to ensure studentsuccess.

    Day-to-Day Responsibilities

    + Float between two Pre-K schools (Mon–Wed)

    + Attend meetings and act as SPED teacher to create goals (Thurs–Fri)

    + Develop and implement individualized education plans

    + Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff

    + Monitor and document student progress

    Minimum Requirements

    + Valid LBS1 license with ECE endorsement

    + Compliance with all professional standards of practice

    + Current CPR (if applicable)

    + TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray (if applicable)

    + Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

    + Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

    + Must be at least 18 years of age
