    _SUMMARY OF PRIMARY FUNCTION_

    We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Engineering Technician to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our engineering and testing processes, with primary responsibilities including the execution of test plans and the construction and maintenance of test equipment. The ideal candidate will be skilled in hands-on tasks, possess a strong mechanical aptitude, and demonstrate a commitment to precision and quality.     You will contribute by:

    _SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES_

    + Execute test plans and procedures developed by engineers to evaluate products, components, or systems.

    + Operate and monitor test equipment, ensuring tests are conducted accurately and safely.

    + Record detailed data and observations during tests, and report any deviations or anomalies.

    + Assemble, set up, and configure test equipment and fixtures according to specifications.

    + Conduct routine maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of test equipment to ensure reliability.

    + Collaborate with engineers to modify or upgrade test setups as needed.

    + Maintain comprehensive records of test procedures, results, and equipment maintenance activities.

    + Create detailed test reports and assist in data analysis.

    + Adhere to safety protocols and best practices in the laboratory and test environments.

    + Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations in testing procedures.

    + Monitor and manage inventory levels of test equipment components and materials.

    + Assist in procurement activities to maintain necessary supplies.

    + Collaborate closely with engineers and other team members to support testing goals and project objectives.

    + Provide feedback and suggestions for improving test processes and equipment.

    _QUALIFICATIONS_

    _SKILLS AND/OR PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION_

    _EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION LEVEL, SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING, LICENSES AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS_

    + Associate degree in Engineering Technology, Electronics, or a related field (bachelor's degree preferred).

    + 8+ years of experience as an engineering technician or in a similar role.

    + Proficiency in the setup, operation, and maintenance of various test equipment and tools.

    + Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

    + Familiarity with technical documentation and test procedure execution.

    + Attention to detail and commitment to precision.

    + Effective communication and teamwork skills.

    + Ability to work independently and follow safety protocols.

    + Basic computer skills for data entry and equipment control.

    Total Rewards

     

    The compensation range for this position is $54,200.00 - $81,400.00, depending on experience. This position may be eligible for performance based bonus plan.
