Senior Manager, US Alzheimer's Strategy and Lifecycle Planning Marketing will assist with the development and execution of several marketing, strategy, and lifecycle planning projects focused on disease state education and branded efforts. This role represents a key opportunity for a talented, passionate marketer to work on important and innovative commercial initiatives for a highly visible AD brand. Essential Functions /Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the tactical execution of the disease state education campaign targeting primary care physicians. This work will require strong collaboration with our CRC team and agency partners.
  • Assist with the execution of the congress strategy to support the disease state education campaign. This work stream will involve partnering with our Congress & Meetings team to manage the operation and logistics associated with the congress experience.
  • Assist with the management of the brand plan dynamic dashboard to drive cross-functional accountability, optimize the brand strategy, and facilitate disciplined decision making.
  • Assist the team with the execution and pull through of the promotional campaign and messaging targeting primary care physicians.
  • Partner with internal business partners and agency partners in the execution of omnichannel content needed to support the disease state education campaign and branded efforts (website, emails, banners, 3rd party content, etc.).
  • Partner with the HCP team, sales team, and sales training to provide relevant resources to support branded efforts.
  • Work effectively with alliance partners and continue to advance US partnership with collaboration partner. Copromote experience preferred.
  • Champion AD innovation and strategic investment opportunities that advance the business and serve to fulfill our mission of human health care ( hhc ).
  • Represent the brand with internal and external stakeholders, including Global and Regional colleagues. Ensure appropriate strategic direction is communicated to and executed by internal business partners and external agencies
  • Potentially Lead or Co-lead cross-functional project teams involving Marketing, Sales, Managed Markets/Market Access, Legal, Regulatory, Medical, PR, agencies, actively soliciting team expertise and input in the development and execution of brand strategies
Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 5+ years relevant pharmaceutical experience or professional experience in marketing, consulting, pharma, life sciences or related area
  • Work experience in Alzheimer's therapeutic area is strongly preferred but not required
  • 3+ years of direct marketing experience required that includes recent launch experience, digital marketing, life cycle planning, finance/forecasting/budget management, sales force training, IC plan development, KPI tracking, supply chain management, familiarity with channel strategies is strongly preferred
  • Experience/familiarity with buy and bill, GPO distribution and hospital P&T, landscape of infusion service reimbursement is preferred.
  • Experience in development and implementation of brand plans
  • Experience working effectively in a culturally diverse matrix environment; strong ability to influence
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively lead cross-functional project teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including presentation skills
  • Must be a strong strategic thinker, able to assess a range of variables including market trends and opportunities, competition, research progress, etc., in order to craft strong near- and longer-term marketing strategies. This requires strong analytical skills, combined with a strong market orientation to identify breakthrough opportunities.
  • Comprehensive understanding of legal and regulatory issues impacting pharmaceutical product marketing as well as the dynamics driving the US health care environment
  • Able to integrate business knowledge, financial knowledge, and analyses of available information to make sound business decisions. Can apply financial analysis to build business cases that drive quality decision making and management processes.
  • Travel is estimated at 30% of time, including some weekend travel
