**Wolters Kluwer CT Corporation (CT)** is looking for an **Associate Director** **, Salesforce** to join CT Corp in the **New York Office.** The position is remote.
The Associate Director (Sr. Engineering Leader) of the Salesforce Program will manage the enterprise Salesforce platform and help drive large-scale, transformational business initiatives to establish a foundation for supporting critical business functions for our sales, service, marketing, and customers. As a Senior engineering leader, you will lead multiple enterprise-wide Salesforce solutions with considerable focus on solution implementations and enterprise application development. This leader will demonstrate a balance of technical proficiency, strategic thinking, collaboration, and effective communication skills. Additionally, this role will build and develop a strong Salesforce team that includes technical leads, engineers, and admins to deliver new business solutions and provide world-class support for delivered applications. This is a remote position but requires a presence in the NY office for key workshops and meetings.
Responsibilities:
+ Lead and mentor a team of Salesforce technical leads, developers, and administrators, providing technical guidance in delivering business value across multiple workstreams following agile methodologies (SAFe/Scrum)
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, product owners, business stakeholders, and architects, to define technical requirements and prioritize development efforts
+ Oversee the implementation of customizations, configurations, and integrations to optimize the Salesforce platform for business needs ensuring platform stability, and avoiding technical debt
+ Ensure compliance with Salesforce best practices, security standards, and regulatory requirements.
+ Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the performance, usability, and reliability of the Salesforce platform.
+ Manage Salesforce platform governance, including user access, data security, and release management processes
+ Ensure the overall quality, performance, and maintainability of the software deliverables by setting up engineering best practices and standards
+ Collaborate with product owners, and scrum masters to plan and estimate software development efforts, resolve impediments, and ensure prompt and quality deliverables
+ Manage and coordinate onsite and offshore software engineers, fostering effective collaboration, resolving challenges, and ensuring alignment with project/release goals
+ Continuously improve software engineering processes and practices, promoting knowledge sharing, and facilitating a culture of learning and growth within the development teams
+ Define metrics to ensure the high performance and stability of our development and production environments
+ Define and implement toll gates and release management process ensuring high-quality predictable releases
+ Proactively seek opportunities for process improvement: identify and resolve process bottlenecks, data issues, and inconsistencies to help improve operational efficiencies
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
+ Minimum 15 years of technical experience with a strong programming (Java, C#, C++) background
+ Minimum 8 years of experience with the Salesforce platform (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Custom development on the Salesforce platform) in an enterprise setting
+ 5+ years of engineering leadership and people management experience
+ Experience in managing and leading software development teams that include onsite, distributed, and offshore teams
+ Expertise in the Salesforce platform, including custom development, integration, data management, and deployment strategies
+ Experience leading and mentoring a team of Salesforce developers and administrators, providing technical guidance, training, and performance evaluations
+ Experience in overseeing the end-to-end delivery of complex Salesforce projects, from requirements gathering and solution design to testing and deployment
+ Proficiency in Salesforce development with, Lightning Components, Lightning Web Components, Platform Events, Apex triggers, Batch Apex, and Salesforce DX
+ Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively interact with business leaders, vendors/partners, and technical teams
+ Demonstrated leadership qualities, including strategic thinking, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills
+ Experience with managing Salesforce platform governance, including security, compliance, and release management processes following agile methodologies
Compensation:
Target salary range CA, CT, CO, HI, NY, WA: $176,600-$249,950
