The Innovation Design Advisor plans and executes strategies to meet organization's long-range goals including acquisitions/divestitures and strategic business alliances. The Innovation Design Advisor works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.

The Innovation Experience Design role is a critical member of the multidisciplinary clinical initiatives team within Clinical Strategy and Analytics. This role requires demonstrated expertise in both research and design strategy with specific responsibilities outlined below. The Experience Designer must be extremely collaborative as they will work across the portfolio of clinical initiatives and as a team with other experience designers including our Senior Design Strategist to ensure shared learnings, continued growth and development, as well as utilization of key individual strengths where needed to advance the portfolio.
Key responsibilities of the position are as follows:
Research component of position
+ **Define research needs:** Work with product owners to define overall research needs and complete a research brief. The lead should be familiar with a range of qualitative and quantitative research methods and be able to recommend the best method(s) for the given research question. The lead should be a strategic thinker who is able to coach product owners to reframe problems where needed to get the most useful information from participants (as opposed to taking the research request at face value).
+ **Coordinate research requests:** Once the brief is complete, this person should work through our various channels to execute the research. That includes determining the best partner (internal or vendor), optimizing for budget, and determining who should lead the sessions. The lead should also determine where we can combine efforts from multiple workstreams.
+ **Conduct research:** The lead should be able to capably conduct qualitative and quantitative research using a range of methods and with a variety of stakeholders. This includes developing screeners, preparing materials, conducting interviews, writing surveys, etc.
+ **Analyze and synthesize research:** The lead should be able to collate key findings and insights and present them in a meaningful and useful way for the team.
Design Strategy component of position:
+ **Co-lead workshops** with vendors/partners and co-development to design feasibility/desirability and engagement testing with product leads.
+ **Assist in design strategy work:** Attend stakeholder/partner interviews with Senior Experience Designer to help analyze and synthesize findings, and potentially follow up to get more details or track down other information.
+ **Help create artifacts:** Assist in creating visuals or other collateral for working with partners, designing future journeys, and visualizing research insights.

Required Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree
+ 7 or more years of experience in design research including conducting user interviews and developing service based experience design
+ 2 or more years of project leadership experience
+ Excellent communication, presentation and collaboration skills
+ Experience launching and scaling projects
+ Cross-functional leadership and facilitation experience
Preferred Qualifications
+ Experience in design/research with clinical programs with in depth experience with the senior population
+ Experience working with providers on provider engagement
+ Experience with EHR integration
+ Experience with provider workflow
+ Thorough understanding of Design Thinking and Agile methods

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.$123,800 - $170,400 per yearThis job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
