Will support manufacturing
and processing blades and vanes on the Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection Line
with NDT Level 2 responsibilities for inspection in the Gibsonton Florida
Location.
How You’ll Make an Impact
+ Will set up and calibrate equipment, conductexaminations, and interpret results concerning applicable codes,standards, and specifications.
+ Familiar with the scope and limitations of the methodand techniques for which qualified, shall exercise assigned responsibilityfor on-the-job training and guidance of trainees and NDT Level Ipersonnel.
+ Organizing and reporting the results of NDT tests.
+ Performing an interpretation of FPI indications foracceptance to work instructions/techniques to meet customerspecifications.
+ Reporting all required data and mapping the results asrequired.
+ Cross-training and other duties may be assigned asneeded.
What You Bring
+ Achieve and maintain internal certifications perSNT-TC-1A and customer requirements including examination for generalmethod knowledge, specific procedure understanding and practicalperformance of the method.
+ Must become trained to the PT certificationrequirements including 12 hours of formal classroom training and 400 hoursof OJT under a certified NDT Level I, II or III.
+ Minimum of High School Diploma or GED isrequired.
+ Investment casting experience and knowledge preferred.
+ General knowledge of other NDT disciplines a plus.
+ Applicants must be legally authorized for employmentin the United States without the need for current or futureemployer-sponsored work authorization.
+ This position will require an export license from theDepartment of Commerce, Bureau of Industry and Security, and/or theDepartment of State, Directorate of Defense Trade Controls. Issuance ofany required license is a prerequisite for this position. The candidatemust be able to work with export-controlled technology in accordance withUS export control law.
