Overview
Position Summary Details
Responsible for supporting SAS Environmental Health and Safety (Process & Occupational Health Dept.). This department includes training & development, budget, excursion prevention, industrial hygiene, medical clinic services and EHS IT systems.
Essential Functions
+ Assist with schedule coordination and organizing meetings (reserve rooms, calendar meetings, etc.)
+ Organize and disposition hard copy records & arrange transport for long-term storage
+ Assist with arranging training, managing vendor registration requests
+ Perform various administrative duties associated with EHS data management systems
+ Support compliance related activities including but not limited to preparing reports and updating internal web pages.
+ Assist with internal and external audits by coordinating schedules and logistics, preparing meeting materials and uploading data to electronic records systems.
Qualifications
+ Proficient with email and electronic calendars (preferably Knox platform)
+ Strong organizational skills and ability to stay on track with multiple concurrent tasks
+ Strong Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
+ Familiarity with electronic medical records systems preferred but not required
+ Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, ability to assess and shift priorities based on business needs
