Dynamic IT Service Desk Technician Role
Join us as a Tier 1 IT Service Desk Technician and become an integral part of our dynamic team! This role is perfect for tech-savvy problem solvers who can turn challenges into solutions and thrive in fast-paced environments.
Key Responsibilities
+ Be the first line of defense for our internal customers, providing top-notch technical assistance via phone or email.
+ Troubleshoot a variety of issues remotely, from password resets to equipment requests, using diagnostic techniques and insightful questions.
+ Determine optimal solutions based on the details provided by our internal customers.
+ Guide our customers through the problem-solving process, ensuring they feel supported every step of the way.
+ Escalate unresolved issues to the next level of support, ensuring no problem is left unsolved.
+ Educate our customers on our IT products or services, providing accurate and up-to-date information.
+ Document all events, problems, and resolutions in our call management system to ensure a seamless customer experience.
+ Follow up with customers, updating their status and information, and ensuring their satisfaction.
+ Implement feedback and suggestions to continuously improve our procedures.
Skills and Abilities
+ Solid understanding of computer systems and other tech products.
+ Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving basic technical issues.
+ Exceptional communication skills.
+ Flexibility to work weekends.
+ Ability to interact professionally with all levels of employees at all times.
Education and Experience
+ High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s Degree and/or 0-2 years of experience in a similar position preferred.
