Adjunct Lecturer or Adjunct Assistant Professor - RN Program (Nursing)

FACULTY VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

The Department of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences seeks adjunct faculty to teach courses in the Nursing Program. We are looking to hire faculty with a commitment to work effectively with diverse student populations, faculty and staff. Must be available to accept day, evening, or weekend assignments. Assignments will include teaching in the LPN and RN Programs. Faculty are expected to plan, implement and evaluate instruction modalities.

QUALIFICATIONS

Masters in Nursing required. Licensed as an RN in the United States for a minimum of two years. Currently holds a license in good standing in the state of New York. Ability to cooperate with others for the good of the institution and department. Experience with the integration of technology in teaching is desired.

Preferred Qualifications

Doctorate. Minimum of two years of teaching experience in Medical-Surgical Nursing, Pediatrics, and Mental Health Nursing. Experience teaching in an Associate Degree Nursing Program and/or Practical Nursing Program.

Knowledgeable in the ACEN Accreditation process.

COMPENSATION

Salary is commensurate with education and experience:

For Adjunct Lecturer: $ 91.67 - $98.40 per hour

For Adjunct Assistant Professor: $100.00 - $106.41 per hour
