    Your Responsibilities

    + Lead analysis projects by developing financial and strategic frameworks, performing qualitative and quantitative research and business modeling, and articulating clear findings and recommendations t hat drive decision-making.

    + Recognize and stay current with competitive and macro environmental trends , understand ing how they impact areas of focus and becoming an internal expert on emerging business threats and opportunities.

    + Create portions of high-impact, “executive-ready” presentations and memorandum s for leadership and Board of Directors meetings.

    + Scope and define enterprise-wide strategic initiatives, and help implement change management practices.

    + Influence fellow associates to realize the strategic vision through strong written and oral communication skills.

    + Contribute to the development of objective ways to measure progress towards strategic goals by identifying key performance indicators (KPIs), collecting data, and ensuring the integrity and consistency of reporting.

    + Work with cross-functional teams to evaluate complex business problems and brainstorm strategic and meaningful future state solutions.

    + Manage workstreams for strategic projects , leveraging organizational skills and an action-oriented mindset to deliver timely , error-free work products .

    Your Experienc e, Skills & Competencies

    + Bachelor's degree in a related field required or equivalent experience.

    + An MBA from a leading university is a plus but not required.

    + 4-6+ years’ experience , ideally in strategy consulting or internal strategic, financial planning, and/or business analytics functions.

    + Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint , and Word .

    + Demonstrates key competencies to driv e results, ensur e accountability, and cultivate innovation.

     

    Your Team

     

    This is an individual contributor role that will report to the Director, Corporate Strategy & Strategic Planning . You will be part of the 8-member Strategy & Transformation team and collaborate with cross-functional departments, such as Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) and Advanced Analytics (AAT), on a regular basis.

     

    Your Work Location

     

    As our Corporate Strategy Manager , you will be based in our beautiful, state-of-the-art worldwide corporate headquarters in North Bethesda , MD. Less than 15 miles from Washington, DC, we’re located one block away from the North Bethesda Metro station, with service on the Red Line and the MARC Brunswick line, easy access to I-270, and plenty of free parking provided by Choice Hotels.

     

    Salary Range

     

    The salary range for this position is $112,803 to $141,789 annually. In addition to the annual salary, this role is eligible for an annual bonus based on the terms of Choice's Management Incentive Plan (MIP) .

     

    The pay range listed is for this position and is what Choice Hotels reasonably expects to pay. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the pay range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs.
