    Who You Are

     

    Under direct supervision, assigned daily work. May explain instructions and documentation to plan work activities. Helps coordinate movement of materials and equipment to work locations and sets up work site. Completes and reviews records, maintains tools and equipment, and performs various clean up activities. Job may require moderate to heavy lifting. Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal safety equipment.

     

    This is a contingent position based upon contract award

     

    What You’ll Do

    As a Maintenance Painter, you will:

    + Apply paint, wallpaper, and additional finishes to protect and decorate interior and exterior surfaces of buildings.

    + Smooth and prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding and removing old paint.

    + Fill cracks and holes with appropriate material.

    + Mix colors and oils to obtain desired color or consistency.

    + Maintain Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure that all installations and repairs meet or exceed the set standards.

    + Facilitate Team Communication: Ensure clear and consistent communication within the team and with other project stakeholders to keep everyone informed and aligned on project goals and updates.

    + Other duties as required

    Qualifications:

    + 5+ Years proven experience as a painter.

    + Good knowledge of commercial and construction painting techniques.

    + Aptitude in using appropriate tools (brushes, caulking guns, etc.).

    + Manual dexterity with excellent balance to work on scaffolding, ladders, etc.

    + High School Diploma or GED: Required as a basic educational foundation.

    + Attention to Detail: Precision and attention to detail to ensure high-quality service delivery and compliance with safety standards.

    + Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing conditions, technologies, and requirements.

    + Decision-Making Ability: Strong decision-making skills to resolve issues quickly and effectively under pressure.

     

    Clearance: Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility required. Willingness to take a polygraph and upgrade clearance as required.
