    Texas Health Physicians Group is excited to announce a **Full Time** **Physician Assistant** opportunity to work with a skilled, fellowship trained orthopedic surgeon dedicated to providing comprehensive care designed to promote healing.     Position Details

    + Full Time Monday-Friday, hours flexible as driven by the OR schedule and need of patients

    + Surgical Assist with experienced general orthopedic surgeon

    + See patients in the clinic and perform inpatient consults/follow ups

    + Plan treatment and document using EPIC EMR

    Requirements Needed to Apply:

    + Active Texas license

    + Strong Communication Skills

    + Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program

    + **Ortho surgical** experience preferred

    + **First assist surgical experience required**

    **Education** Master's Degree Physician Assisstant Req **Experience** 1 Year As a Physician Assistant. Pref **Licenses and Certifications** PA - Physician Assistant Upon Hire Req **Skills** Active listening and learning, critical thinking, reading comprehension, effective communication, time management, judgment and decision making. **Supervision** Individual Contributor **ADA Requirements** Working Indoors 67% or more

    Mechanical Hazards 1-33%

    Electrical Hazards 1-33% **OSHA** Tasks involving exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues. **Physical Demands** Light Work
