The Position: Certified Surgical Technician

Employment Status: Full time

Hours per two-week pay-period: 80

Essential Job Functions:

+ Practice and maintain sterile technique during surgeries

+ Perform counts of sponges, needles, and instruments correctly and efficiently

+ Competent in the knowledge, skills, and ability to fulfill the scrub technician role

Minimum Qualifications:

+ High School Diploma

+ Completion of Surgical Technician role

Certifications and Licenses

+ BLS

+ Surgical Technician Certified

Position Summary:

Sidney Health Center is seeking a Certified Surgical Technician to join our I CARE team in the Surgery setting. Essential duties of the position include practice and maintaining sterile technique and competency in the skills and knowledge of a surgical technician.
