    FACULTY VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

    New York City College of Technology (City Tech) of the City University of New York (CUNY) is a comprehensive college in downtown Brooklyn offering 58 associate and bachelor’s degree programs.

     

    The Social Science Department at City Tech seeks instructors for introductory courses in Psychology, Economics, Sociology, American Government, Physical Geography, American History, World History, Philosophy, Health Care Ethics, and Anthropology for the Spring 2025 and/or Fall 2025 semesters.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    For appointment as an adjunct lecturer, a minimum of a bachelors degree in the relevant discipline is required, with a Master's degree preferred; for adjunct assistant professor, a Ph.D. or equivalent is required. Preference will be given to applicants with prior college-level teaching experience within the same discipline in both online and in-person modalities.

    COMPENSATION

    Adjunct Lecturer: $91.67/hr

    Adjunct Assistant Professor: $100/hr
