    The Department of Sociology at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley ( UTRGV ) occasionally has the need to hire Graduate Students to assist in the areas research (RAs) or administration.

    Discipline Specific Required Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications: Enrollment in the Sociology MS or Disaster Studies MA program. If hired as Graduate Research Assistant, must have 18 hours of advanced hours in Sociology.

     

    Discipline Specific Required Qualifications: Graduate coursework in Sociology

    Preferred Qualifications

    Preferred Qualification: Research experience is desirable, as well as ability to use technology to support faculty when having issues with computer technology .
