    GENERAL FUNCTIONS

    We are looking for a responsible student who enjoys having fun with children. The childcare assistant will work closely with the lead and assistant teachers conducting daily duties such as preparing and serving meals, engaging in play, assisting to put children to sleep and creating a safe environment. You must be passionate for working with children and exercise patience with them. The right candidate will display a friendly and positive attitude!

    SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

    The following are typical responsibilities associated with this position. The specific responsibilities may vary and will be assigned accordingly by the supervisor.

     

    + Monitor and supervise the children constantly.

    + Provide support to the lead teacher.

    + Assist the lead teacher in maintaining a safe and positive environment.

    + Adhering to procedures in preparing a bottle or changing a diaper.

    Job Requirements:

    SKILLS REQUIRED

    High School Diploma or equivalent.

    Physical Demands:

    Lifting small children ages 6 weeks to five years old.

    Additional Information:

    Work Schedule / Availability: GCCA Child Care Center is open M-F from 7:30am-5:00pm.
