The Senior Systems Engineer shall possess the following capabilities:

+ Lead technical studies on servers, storage, and network infrastructure to support the program's system architecture decisions for sustaining worldwide enterprise operations.

+ Oversee and manage a high-priority, multi-year, on-site technical task focused on consolidating enterprise server sites.

+ Analyze users' requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to formulate system requirements specifications.

+ Lead design and development activities by analyzing system requirements and advising alternative approaches, conducting feasibility studies, and providing technical leadership for integrating requirements, design, and technology.

+ Guide users in requirement formulation and provide expertise in system development and implementation planning.

+ Develop technical documentation, including system architecture and design documentation, to ensure clear understanding and continuity of system development efforts.

+ Interact with Government stakeholders to address Systems Engineering technical considerations, resolve problems, and manage conflicts.

+ Ensure the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Systems Engineering area of responsibility.

+ Communicate effectively with program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives to provide updates, report progress, and address any concerns or issues.

Requirements

+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred.

+ Minimum of 9 years of experience in systems engineering, preferably in support of large-scale enterprise operations.

+ Proficiency in analyzing user requirements, developing system specifications, and guiding system development and implementation.

+ Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead technical teams and manage complex projects.

+ Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

+ Experience working with Government agencies or large organizations preferred.

+ Travel: Some travel may be required based on project needs.
