Job Summary

Home Care Assistance is currently seeking a caring, dependable non-medical hourly caregiver for IMMEDIATE PLACEMENT for the following days/hours for a client located in Pittsburgh, PA 15219:

+ Friday (9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.) AND (6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.)

+ Saturday, Sunday (11:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.)

Client Diagnosis: Chronic Frailty, Mobility Impairment, Breast Cancer, Fall Risk, Stroke (1990, 2005, 2009)

NOTE: Client is currently bed bond until her new wheelchair arrives. Therefore, caregiver would need to do bed baths, change diaper, and meals in bed.

Duties may include but not limited to:

+ Cooking and Light Housekeeping

+ Laundry and Change of Bed Linens

+ Grocery Shopping

+ Companionship

+ Range of Motion Exercises

+ Bathing, Grooming and Dressing Assistance

+ Driving to Appointments and Errands

+ Walking and Transfer Assistance

+ Medication Reminders

+ ADL's

+ Ambulation

+ Change Depends

+ Transportation - Needs vehicle

+ Hoyer Lift Experience - MUST

Caregiver Requirements:

+ At least 1 year experience

+ 2 Step TB Test

+ Pass Criminal Background Checks

+ Pass Child Clearances (when applicable)

Benefits and Perks

+ Sign on Bonus - $500

+ Caregiver Referral Bonus - Up to $200

+ Client Referral Bonus - Waiver Client: up to $500, Private Pay Client: up to $1000
