    Department/Area Molecular and Cellular Biology

    Position Description

About Us: Join an interdisciplinary research team of the Cluzel laboratory at Harvard that focuses on advancing the frontiers of biological imaging, microfluidics and understanding intracellular processes. We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Fellow to develop novel techniques for real-time characterization of intracellular processes using fluorescence microscopy and fluctuation correlation spectroscopy ( FCS ). Important Note: No formal knowledge in biology is required for this position.

    Responsibilities:

+ Design and build an apparatus based on fluctuation correlation spectroscopy ( FCS ) for real-time characterization of intracellular processes such as gene expression and protein aggregation in living cells.

+ Conduct experiments using fluorescence microscopy and FCS techniques to study dynamic cellular processes.

+ Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to optimize experimental protocols and analyze data.

+ Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals and present results at conferences and seminars.
