As a Counter Salesperson you will be responsible for assisting customers in person, entering orders in our system, reviewing and pulling orders, running payment, and ensuring customers' needs are met in a professional and timely fashion. The Counter Sales position is responsible for maintaining current customer satisfaction and upholding our customer service standards when our customers come through the door with a need. This position is a vital part of our operations as they provide professional services with product knowledge, problem solving, and enhancing the customers experience.

The candidate we are looking for is bilingual in Spanish or Arabic and is a customer service professional. This candidate has a knack for communicating with customers, is detail oriented to ensure the order is executed appropriately, and is a leader that can own their responsibilities to work independently.

Reports to: Profit Center Manager

Minimum Qualifications:

+ Bilingual in Spanish or Arabic

+ Sales & customer service experience: 1 year

+ Warehouse experience: 1 year

+ Ability to work independently

+ Detail oriented

+ High School Diploma

+ Ability to stand for long periods of time, bend over, squat down, and lift up to 50 LBS.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Counter Sales experience

+ Forklift certified

+ Experience hand picking orders

Working Conditions:

Conditions vary based on needed activities and will include warehouse, sales floor and external environments. Some activities will include lifting (maximum 50 lbs.), sorting, standing, and possible extreme heat/cold conditions.

Essential Job Functions:

+ Create Sales Register, pull material from the warehouse, and fill the order

+ Create or write manual Cash Sale Receipt for cash customer and fill the order

+ Accept Cash Sale returns and write up Cash Sale refund

+ Keep counter area and displays clean, stocked, and neat at all times and assist in maintaining theentire location in a clean and orderly fashion

+ Assist with purchasing duties by informing the Purchasing Agent when item inventory is low or sold out

+ Answer sales calls and complete orders over the phone

Compensation Range:

The compensation range for this position is $50000 to $60000 annually.
