Basic Function:

As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages and providing exceptional customer service to our members and guests.

Responsibilities:

+ Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, espresso, tea, and specialty drinks including smoothies, according to club recipes and standards.

+ Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other equipment efficiently and safely.

+ Operate sandwich press machine to heat items to order.

+ Maintain cleanliness and organization of the refreshment and work area, including brewing equipment, countertops, and display cases.

+ Provide friendly and knowledgeable customer service, including taking orders, answering questions, and making recommendations.

+ Enter orders into POS system ensuring charges are properly billed to the member’s account.

+ Uphold company policies and procedures regarding food safety, sanitation, and member satisfaction.

+ Assist with stocking and inventory management, including monitoring supplies and notifying your supervisor of any shortages or discrepancies.

+ Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations during peak hours.

+ Follow all health and safety regulations and guidelines.

+ Other duties as required.

Requirements:

+ Excellent customer service and communication skills.

+ Previous experience as a barista or similar role preferred.

+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

+ Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

+ Ability to work weekends and holidays.
