Bachman’s Cedar Acres has openings for Cashiers who are skilled assisting customers, maintaining store appearance and providing accurate, timely and friendly service.

POSITION DUTIES:

+ Work directly on sales floor, and registers, throughout the store, assisting customers.

+ Maintain store appearance with general cleaning, caring for plants, dusting, pricing, stocking and displaying merchandise.

+ Assist with carryout and cart retrieval.

+ Use the telephone to assist and answer customers questions and provides information.

+ Provide accurate, timely and friendly service to both Bachman’s customers and potential customers.

+ Take orders for outdoor sales.

+ Assist the floral department as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

+ Demonstrates excellent customer relations and communication skills is required.

+ Must be able to read and write English, perform basic math skills.

+ High energy level.

+ Basic computer skills are required.

+ Demonstrated ability to follow through on work direction.

+ Past register experience - preferred.

+ Work is performed in areas with weather extremes of heat and cold, and wet conditions.

+ The position requires standing/walking on hard surface during the entire shift, working at a fast pace.

+ Must be able to lift 50lbs. with frequent bending.

COMPENSATION: $16/hour
