    Like shopping at Trader Joe's? Then, maybe you'll love working with us. We are looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist who is searching to do what they'll love - Payroll! Do you have experience in end to end, multi state payroll? Do you love food? If so, read on! We may have the role of a lifetime for you!

     

    Trader Joe's is unlike any place you've ever worked. Trust us on that. The qualified Payroll Specialist has at least 7 years of high volume payroll experience and is a raving fan of the Trader Joe's concept. A Bachelor's Degree is strongly preferred. This role is based in our office in Monrovia, CA and we are in office 5 days a week.

    The Payroll Specialist is responsible for:

    + Processing full cycle multi state payroll for 60,000 Crew Members.

    + Reviewing and auditing payroll reports and look for discrepancies and inconsistencies.

    + Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal payroll laws and research new laws and regulations.

    + Processing quarterly and year-end payroll reports as well as being the point of contact for payroll matters with the stores.

    + Maintaining payroll records, including tax documents, and garnishments.

    + Working collaboratively with other departments.

    The Payroll Specialist has:

    + 7 or more years of high-volume, full cycle, payroll processing with 5 years of Payroll Tax experience.

    + Ability to maintain confidential information

    + Experience utilizing Dayforce and CPP a plus.

    + Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.

    + A strong attention to detail.
