    We are a building systems consulting engineering, design and construction management firm headquartered in Johnstown, PA. In operation for over 75 years, the H.F. Lenz Company offers a full range of engineering services for private and public buildings and facilities. Our high-profile projects span the nation, with the heaviest concentration in the Northeast.

    Day to Day Responsibilities:

    + Responsible for design of mechanical, HVAC, plumbing and fire protection systems for MEP projects.

    + Perform 2D and 3D drafting and design using Revit and AutoCAD

    + Perform set up of drawing models, diagrams and layouts.

    + Perform fundamental design tasks and coordinate with various engineering disciplines.

    + Collaborate with engineering team members in cross-functional setting to ensure that the design is accurate and that contract responsibilities are met according to client's expectations.

    + May travel occassionally to project sites for site observations and surveys.

    Qualifications:

    + Desire to work in a learning, innovative and collaborative environment.

    + Ability to meet project deadlines and provide outstanding service to clients.‎

    + Ability to plan, organize and prioritize multiple projects.‎

    + Ability to work in and foster a team environment with minimal supervision.‎

    + Ability to work occasional overtime as needed.

    Requirements:

    + Associates or Technical Degree in Engineering Technology, CADD or experience equivalent to education and training.

    + 2+ years of knowledge and experience in 2D/3D drafting and design.

    + Experience with HVAC or MEP / building systems design is highly preferred.‎

    + Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD and MS Office software applications is required.‎
