Job Description for Integration Engineer
JOB SUMMARY
The candidate is expected to work within an environment that requires regular interaction with the Integration Engineering team, Process Engineering team, Operations team and the cleanroom operators (CROs). It will be critical to work seamlessly across these teams in order to execute development as efficiently as possible, both from a business-process perspective as well as development cycle times.
This position will require a strong ability to develop and define objectives, to establish Ready for Process (RFP) products and execute novel experiments. It will also require detailed documentation in order to support program certifications. This position requires clear communication for direct interactions with customers, an understanding of the capabilities of the line, ability to establish product specifications and coordinating multiple projects at any given time.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
+ Establish, setup, and execute experimental & health of line production runs within the 300 mm line to achieve key objectives.
+ Interact with key stakeholders (customers, process engineers, program managers) to establish project objectives, timelines and budgets
+ Characterize, summarize and interpret the results of experiments and other production runs.
+ Documentation of results in the forms of papers and presentations.
+ Mentoring junior engineers and technicians
+ Other reasonable duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Minimum Requirements for Integration Engineer
+ B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or equivalent Engineering and/or Science discipline from a college or University accredited by the USDOE or internationally recognized accrediting organization.
+ 2-5 years of experience working in the semiconductor industry as an integration engineer in one or more areas of advanced CMOS/Derivatives Integration.
+ A deep understanding of the semiconductor industry and how to integrate processes that can be used for meeting unique customer expectations is a prerequisite. Therefore, an understanding and working knowledge of process integration for semiconductor technologies that can be applicable to traditional CMOS manufacturing, and a deep understanding of materials systems suitable for FEOL and BEOL development is desired.
+ A working knowledge of equipment and process interactions is critical.
+ This position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills.
+ The ability to communicate clearly to C-level executives is expected.
+ NY CREATES is a multi-client, consortium environment, and the successful individual must demonstrate excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
+ Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment is a must.
This position is contingent on the satisfactory completion of a background check; this position may require annual background checks.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
+ 5-10 years of experience working in the semiconductor industry as an Integration Engineer in one or more areas of advanced CMOS/Derivatives Integration.

Salary Range: $100,000- $140,000 annual
*Posted salary rates are determined upon experience and education
