    Position Overview

    The Manufacturing Technician, Logistics is responsible for working independently and with others on GMP Facility cleaning and Material Transfer. Technicians will maintain qualification in full aseptic gowning as well as​ cGMP training, and train in other processes related to cleaning and supporting Manufacturing production.

     

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

     

    + Perform cleaning, sanitization and/or disinfection of the cGMP cleanroom area in accordance with written procedures.

    + Perform general manufacturing space sanitation.

    + Perform aseptic gowning and complete activities using aseptic technique.

    + Perform material transfer and staging of materials.

    + Stock supplies, maintains laboratory and facility organization, and perform other duties as needed in a fast-paced environment.

    + Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) to ensure all laboratory equipment and work areas are clean and in proper working order .

    + Perform equipment preventative maintenance .

    + Assist in autoclaving of materials

    + Maintain compliance by completing ongoing training/education.

    + Assist in implementing improvement ideas.

    + Additional responsibilities as assigned.

    Qualifications

    + High School Diploma or equivalent

    + Previous experience in cleanroom facilities or hospital environment is preferred but not required

    + Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills

     

    Other Skills and Abilities

     

    + Strict attention to detail and safety.

    + Focus on quality, accuracy, and technique

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to bending, stooping, moving equipment, and stretching. A normal range of hearing and vision correctable to 20/20 is required. Occasional lifting up to 30 pounds is required.
