    Description

    SAIC is seeking a highly motivated SW Trainer to provide technical instruction and training. The IT trainer will have the opportunity to learn different enterprise IT systems and applications.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Provide formal and informal training via in-person (deskside and classroom), and distance methods as needed.

    + Work with technical and program experts to understand and define the goals/objectives for the training class and develop lesson plans and training material with the help of others.

    + Obtain access to the subject systems or applications to learn the new functionality being trained and ask questions as needed.

    + Develop initial training drafts to further evolve and refine with input from others until ready for delivery.

    + Deliver the training to IT users with the assistance of technical and program experts.

    + Analyze and communicate user feedback with the goal of enhancing customer satisfaction.

    Qualifications

    Required Education:

    + Bachelor's degree and nine (9) years or more of related experience.

    Desired Education:

    + Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, management information systems, or equivalent experience.

    Required Experience:

    + Working knowledge of the ADDIE model.

    + Demonstrated ability to tailor communication and fac8ilitate discussions among groups of people.

    + Demonstrated ability to tailor communication and proven ability to facilitate discussions among groups of people.

    + Demonstrated ability as a self-starter and a collaborator, willing to adapt to different requirements.

    + Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    + Must be comfortable researching various enterprise IT related technologies and working in a dynamic environment.

    + Proficient with MS Office tools.

    Desired Experience:

    + Experience with Confluence

    Clearance:

    + Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active TS/SCI clearance with the required polygraph.
