PRN Physical Therapist NE

Under the supervision of the Manager, Rehabilitation Services, the Physical Therapist evaluates and treats patients, communicates to referral sources, provides daily documentation and marketing services.

A caregiver in this position works 8:00am-4:30pm, this is a PRN position so shifts/hours vary weekly.

A caregiver who excels in this role will:

+ Complete patient related and non-patient related documentation in a timely manner.

+ Delegate and supervise the patient care of PTAs, support staff and students.

+ Market services to patients, referral sources, and the public.

+ Form and maintain positive interpersonal relationships with patients and staff.

+ Practice teamwork.

+ Organize work assignments and time, without compromising quality patient care, to achieve maximum productivity and efficiency.

+ Achieve personal and professional development through participation in continuing education, in-services, orientation programs and student programs.

+ Maintain an orderly and safe work environment.

+ Keep treatment areas and department clean and orderly.

+ Complete mandatory education and training to maintain organization and department specific competencies and requirements.

+ Maintain applicable certification/licensure.

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

+ Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy.

+ Physical Therapy current license to practice in Ohio.

+ CPR certification.

+ Can establish and maintain courteous cooperative and respectful relations with patients and staff.

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

+ Previous PT experience.
