Description:

Fully qualified RNs with a minimum of 18 months of hospital RN experience may qualify for a sign-on bonus up to $30,000! Full-time, part-time, days, and nights available.

**Saint Mary’s Hospital’s** Inpatient Surgery Department is a 23-bed unit that provides care for various types of surgeries pre and post operatively. Surgical procedures include but not limited to bariatric, orthopedic, ortho-trauma, neuro-spine, mastectomies, urological, gynecological, and gastroenterology surgeries.

What You Will Do:

+ Provide hands-on bedside care of patients with complex surgical needs as part of a multidisciplinary team.

+ Develop plans of care and facilitate education with a focus on restoring patients to their pre-surgical state of wellness

+ Assisting exceptional care for patients who require a stay overnight or longer after surgeries.

Minimum Qualifications:

+ **Education:** Graduate of an accredited college or university affiliated nursing program.

+ **Licensure** : Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse RN in Connecticut.

+ **Experience: 18+ months an RN.** A minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in an acute Inpatient setting is required.

+ **BLS or CPR Certification:** Current certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required.

**Work Schedule** :

+ **Full-time or Part-time available.**

+ **Day or Night shift available.**

+ **12-hour shifts**
