    Job Overview:

    Lead Radiologic Technologist will assist the supervisor in the day to day operation of the department, manage the Quality Control Program, and function as a clinical instructor to the student technologists

    Qualifications:

    Required:

    + High School Diploma or equivalent required,

    + Must have ARRT NM and/or NMTCB

    + CPR certified through American Heart Association or obtained within six months of hire,

    Preferred:

    + 3-5 years hospital experience as a lead/chief technologist preferred

    Essential Functions:

    + Fulfills all the requirements of a Staff Technologist

    + Liaison between radiologists, clinical staff and management

    + Keeps up to date with established departmental policies and procedures including informing the staff in your modality,

    + Assist in obtaining ACR certification

    + Participates in quality assurance activities completing all required documentation for the continuous improvement of patient care

    + Assists with the maintenance of supplies and equipment,

    + Responsible for all quality control testing

    + Provides feedback to management and may be required to complete employee performance evaluations,

    + Performs additional duties as required
