Plus, we’re a renowned Level III neonatal intensive care unit, a Comprehensive Stroke and Bariatric Surgery Center of Excellence and provide wellness services, outpatient surgery and women’s imaging services.

     

    Texas Health Dallas is a joint Commission-certified Comprehensive Stroke Center, a Level I Trauma Center, a Comprehensive Heart Attack Center and a designated Magnet hospital. We’re a top choice in North Texas for cancer and emergency services, bariatric services, cardiac care and much more.

    Job Description

    Department operations:

    Ensure daily operations of SPD fall within AMII guidelines

     

    Staff schedules

     

    Manage performance issues

    Engage Physicians:

    Daily rounding with physicians

    Finance and Efficiency:

    Meet supply and FTE budgets

    Quality Metrics:

    Development and oversight of department based PI projects

     

    Advance Patient safety and Quality

    Education

     

    Bachelor's Degree preferred

    Experience

    3 years clinical experience in a sterile processing department including some supervisory or leadership functions required

     

    Licenses and Certifications

     

    CSPDT - Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician Or clinical certification in the field of surgical instrument processing required upon hire

     

    Skills

     

    Leadership skills, good communication skills, problem solving; must perform daily operations within all areas of Sterile Processing Department.
