Product Manager Our Client is currently looking for a Product Manager within our Strategic Marketing Department. This person will develop, execute and own strategy for a new and exciting critical business segment. This will include providing a deep understanding of Smart Home technology and facility management and developing roadmaps of technology for our doors and door accessories. The goal is to define, develop and execute integration of new smart home devices, by using existing technology in new ways and also inventing new tech for overall product integration. The role will require the person to identify, develop and execute new product development projects, participate in product planning and promotional initiatives as well as product management responsibilities. They will have a high level of attention to detail and have the skills to navigate and summarize complex code requirements and translate them into our product marketing business strategy.

Be prepared to preform the following job responsibilities:

+ Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of smart home and facility management technology.

+ Definition and execution of new smart home devices.

+ Drive the development, strategy, roadmap and business plan.

+ Understanding of advanced sensing, vision, display and generative AI technologies

+ Actively interview and research through homeowner, dealer, code body, architectural and other professional channels to identify product innovation or development opportunities

+ Have the capacity to navigate financial analysis, forecasts, pricing strategies and competitive analysis for new product initiatives.

+ Collaborate with all departments to produce relevant and engaging marketing materials/collateral.

+ Leading cross-functional teams to introduce new products to the market in accordance with launch schedules.

+ Own and perform product portfolio management for assigned segment, identifying potential gaps and prospects within channels and markets.

+ Gather competitive intelligence and amass for easy reference.

+ Utilize StageGate process for New Product Development initiatives.

+ Act as the link between departments to communicate features and benefits to support marketing strategy.

+ Development of marketing plans including product launches, technical documentation, demonstrations, and promotions as required.

+ Work with Sales and Marketing Communications teams to develop effective marketing campaigns for launched products.

Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or Engineering. Relevant work experience will be considered.

+ Minimum of 3 years of experience in Marketing, Sales, or related field.

+ Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in product management.

+ Experience with application development.

+ Intermediate knowledge of smart home technology.

+ MS Office Suite experience.

+ Ability to collaborate with customers.
