Signature Healthcare is seeking a full time Certified Nurse Midwife. This position provides direct nurse midwifery care to patients 50% at our office practice and 50% on our labor and delivery floor at Brockton Hospital. The Certified Nurse Midwife, who by virtue of advanced training and experience, is qualified to provide prenatal, intra partum, postpartum, normal newborn care and routine gynecological care. Under the clinical direction of the physician and the general direction of the administrative manager, provides health and medical care to women and their babies. Some overnight and weekend labor floor coverage is required.

Requirements:

+ Graduate of a state-approved school of nursing and midwifery program.

+ Certificate in Nurse-Midwifery, ARNP license and certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB.)

+ BLS certification required

+ NRP certification required.

+ Excellent clinical and educational skills with demonstrated interpersonal, technical and management skills.

+ Nurse-midwifery experience preferred.
