    Software Engineer II

     

    Software Engineer II for Tridium, Inc. (Richmond, VA)

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Design and develop Tridium’s Niagara 4x, Niagara Cloud, and Niagara Edge applications.

     

    Gather business requirements from the Product Owner.

     

    Design discussions will take place and Stories will be created to describe the new features. This includes modeling data, making backend changes to incorporate new features.

     

    Collaborate with other Software Engineers to discuss and design complex features.

     

    Write robust software applications using the Test-Driven Development approach. The code should be modular and designed to test individual components before the developed module is integrated into the system.

     

    Maintain the existing Niagara product releases such as Niagara 4.10 and Niagara 4.11.

     

    Provide enhancements for these releases as well as fix any defects or bugs if encountered during testing.

     

    Deploy the developed application to various Niagara servers and verify the solution is working on scale.

    Job Site: Richmond, VA

    40 hours/week

    YOU MUST HAVE:

    Qualified applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, and three (3) years of software engineering experience. Full term of experience must include: structured programming with JAVA, including good design concepts, reusability, and quality; build tools; testing tools; Agile Methodology; and complete software development lifecycle. Telecommuting permitted up to two (2) times per week.
