Description

Responsibilities

+ Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations

+ Ensure premises, assets and communication ways are used effectively

+ Utilize logistics IT to optimize procedures

+ Supervise orders and arrange stocking of raw materials and equipment to ensure they meet needs

+ Communicate with suppliers, customers etc. to achieve on time deliveries and mutual satisfaction

+ Plan and track the shipment of final products according to customer requirements

+ Keep logs and records of warehouse stock, executed orders etc.

+ Organizing and managing inventory, storage, and transportation.

+ Analyzing and optimizing logistical procedures.

+ Ensuring the safe and timely pick-up and delivery of shipments.

+ Addressing and resolving shipment and inventory issues.

+ Answering customer queries

Requirements

Requirements and skills

+ Proven experience as logistics coordinator

+ Experience in customer service will be appreciated

+ Knowledge of laws, regulations and ISO requirements

+ Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes

+ Computer-savvy with a working knowledge of logistics software (ERP)

+ Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities

+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

+ High school diploma/GED required.

+ Degree in business administration, logistics or related field preferred.

+ 2+ years of experience in logistics management required.

+ Working knowledge of legal regulations and ISO requirements.

+ Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics software.

+ Good management and organizational skills.

+ Strong problem-solving skills.
