    Position Summary

    The School of Education seeks applications between July 1, 2024 – June 30, 2025, from individuals who are interested in securing temporary instructor positions within the Higher Education Leadership program for the 2024 – 2025 academic year.

     

    Instructors teach hybrid courses (using video conferencing and synchronous learning technologies) in areas of their expertise and are hired periodically for fall, spring, and/or summer term, contingent upon enrollments and need. Reappointment may depend upon performance and the availability of funding.

    Conditions of EmploymentPre-employment Criminal Background Check (required for new hires)

    Required Job Qualifications

    + Earned doctorate in higher education leadership or a related field

    + Demonstrated excellence and experience as a higher education leadership scholar/practitioner/administrator

    + Experience teaching in higher education law, legal issues in student affairs, or related areas

    + At least three years of professional work experience in a higher education setting

    Preferred Job Qualifications

    + Experience in teaching using video conferencing and synchronous learning technologies

    + Experience with mentoring and advising graduate student scholar practitioners

    + Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in teaching, research, and practice

    + Record of scholarship and publication in higher education leadership or a related field commensurate with a research university
