The Department of Management is one of five academic departments in the College of Business. The department has a strong record of teaching and research accomplishments as well as a collegial work environment.
The Department currently has 34 world renowned faculty who serve approximately 2,400 undergraduate business majors, over 1,600 undergraduate business minors, and 1,000 graduate students. The College’s MBA is offered in residence and via Colorado State University’s accredited learning programs.
Undergraduate concentrations in the Department of Management include management and innovation, human resource management, and supply chain management. Four specialized certificates are offered: entrepreneurship; leadership in organizations; managing human resources; and operations, logistics, and supply management.

Position Summary
The Department of Management in the College of Business may hire adjunct faculty from an applicant pool from time to time. The teaching load and course assignments are made by the Department Chair.
Instructors may be hired for fall, spring and/or summer term in a given academic year. Applications will be accepted throughout the academic year. Hiring decisions are normally made during the late spring and throughout the summer for fall semester, during fall semester for spring semester, and during spring semester for the summer term.

Required Job Qualifications
+ Applicable and accredited Master’s degree in order to teach in one or more of the following areas: business strategy, entrepreneurship, supply chain, sustainability, management, business communications, and human resources
+ Or earned J.D./Ph.D.
+ Or Ph.D. Candidate in the required field of study
+ Ability to teach in one or more of the following areas: business strategy, entrepreneurship, supply chain, sustainability, management, business communications, and human resources
Preferred Job Qualifications
+ Experience teaching courses in these relevant subject areas: business strategy, entrepreneurship, supply chain, sustainability, management, advanced writing, business communications, and human resources
+ Degree obtained from a school of business accredited by AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International)
+ Previous university teaching experience in a college of business in relevant subject areas or experience teaching in a business setting
+ Substantial business experience in relevant subject areas
+ Experience with multi-media teaching techniques
