Celtic Bank is filling a full-time position for an experienced Network Engineer (NE). Candidates must be reliable and task oriented. The Network Engineer will help create and enforce IT system policies and procedures and will have responsibility for the integrity and security of enterprise systems. The Network Engineer will work with a team of highly motivated individuals that regularly collaborate on a wide range of tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

+ Point of contact for networking related tasks

+ Provide recommendations for managing system and architecture issues

+ Install, configure, and secure Cisco, Palo Alto, and Aruba equipment

+ Act as backup to systems administrators as needed

+ Receive tickets from bank users/IT and quickly resolve technical issues

+ Create and maintain technical and non-technical documentation

Requirements

+ 5+ years of continuous hands-on experience in Networking

+ Experience deploying, troubleshooting, administering Cisco/Aruba/Palo

+ Working knowledge of network components (AD, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP)

+ Automate repetitive tasks with scripting

+ Strong troubleshooting skills

+ Strong work ethic, highly motivated and the ability to work independently

+ Capable of working on multiple projects at the same time and prioritizing many tasks

+ Familiarity with support/helpdesk ticketing processes

+ Able to work evenings or weekends on rotation when the need arises

+ Degree in CS, IS/IT or a related engineering discipline

+ VMware ESX virtualization

+ Patch management (Bigfix, SCCM)

+ Microsoft Office365, Azure

+ Cisco/Aruba/Palo networking (VLANs, ACL, Routing)

Physical and Other Requirements

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. + Work Model: The employee in this position will work either a fully Onsite or Hybrid work model. All employees, regardless of location, may be required to travel to the Salt Lake City office for mandatory company meetings, events, or related occasions.

+ Utah-based employees: Hybrid work schedule available after initial training period in our Salt Lake City, Utah office – department and job requirements will determine eligibility.
