Through research programs funded by science and technology R&D organizations within the U.S. Department of Defense, the research and development team in FAST Labs collaborate across the enterprise. On this team, you ll have the opportunity to create and develop advanced technology capabilities in the areas of advanced electronics, autonomy, cyber, electronic warfare, and sensors and processing.

About the Role:

FASTLABs Engineering is seeking a Systems Engineer to join an existing program team and support I&T activities for a novel multi-function RF System. As a member of this team, you will collaborate with scientists, fellow engineers, and industry partners to realize innovative solutions to complex and challenging national security problems.

The ideal candidate will have experience:

+ applying critical thinking, and analytical skills to multiple domains effectively and working across disciplines to solve problems in innovative ways.

+ with integration and test of complex RF systems

+ with field testing

+ automating RF test equipment and parsing large data sets

+ developing test plans, and associated test infrastructure, to ensure test strategies meet customer expectations.

+ clearly communicate ideas, concerns and solution to the team, industry partner, customers and FASTLABS management.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

+ Bachelor s degree in Electrical, Electronic, Computer Science or related field

+ 4 years of relevant industry experience with an emphasis in RF I&T/V&V

+ Hold an Active or Current TOP SECRET collateral clearance

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

+ Experienced in the use of MATLAB or other programming languages

+ Knowledge of Communications or Digital Signal Processing (DSP)

+ Proficient with test equipment including RF sources, pulse generators, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, vector network analyzers, power meters, power supplies, and digital multi-meters

+ Experience working with RF test methods and equipment (automation/BASH scripting a plus)

+ Ability to travel and work at remote sites in support of test events, meetings and training activities

+ Hols an Active or Current U.S. TS/SCI security clearance

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $95106 - $161680

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
