    Position Title: TEACHER AIDES (Bus Aide)

     

    Brief Description: Assists bus drivers in managing student behavior; assists students with special needs and conditions; helps drivers back up by spotting from inside the bus; helps substitute drivers on the route. Must attend Pre-Service Bus Monitor training and Basic Monitor Class and take Physical Performance Test during first year

     

    Location(s): Transportation Department

     

    Anticipated Start Date: 10/7/2024

     

    Posting Dates: 9/20/2024- Until Filled

     

    Number of Vacancies: up to 3

     

    Hours per Week: 20 hours a week plus timesheets

    Required Qualifications:

    + High School Diploma or G.E.D.

    + NYS Education Department fingerprint clearance is required before starting work.

    Salary Range: $16.58 per hour base with additional rate based on relevant experience.
