• Model Based Systems Engineer

    ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented **Senior Model Based Systems Engineer** to join our team in **Lexington Park, MD.** This is an onsite position.

     

    This position applies engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, test, and evaluate military aircraft and weapons systems in support of Navy air maintenance and modernization projects.

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    + Reviews and prepares engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation

    + Performs acquisition and resource management, quality assurance testing, configuration management, and system integration, by applying systems engineering experience.

    + Evaluates, analyzes, designs, develops, implements, and tests software, components, or systems to meet the requirements for military weapons systems

    + Domestic Travel up to 10%

    Minimum Qualifications:

    + Master’s Degree and 4+ years of relevant Systems Engineering experience using Model Based Engineering and Digital Engineering applications/technology

    + A Bachelor’s Degree in a Technical or Scientific area plus 8+ years of relevant Systems Engineering experience using Model Based Engineering and Digital Engineering applications/technology experience may be substituted for a Master’s degree

    + Experience using MBSE Tools, such as Cameo System Modeler, Cameo Enterprise Architect, Teamwork Cloud, and Cameo Collaborator

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Navy experience

    Clearance Requirements:

    + US Citizenship required and an active/current Interim Top Secret clearance.

    Physical Requirements:

    + Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%

    + Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

    + Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations

    + Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
