    BayCare Health Systems is currently seeking a **Certified Medical Assistant** to join our outstanding and compassionate team in **Dade City!**

     

    + **Facility:** BayCare Behavioral Health Doris Cook

    + **Location:** Dade City, FL

    + **Status:** Full time, Hourly

    + **Shift Hours:** Monday-Thursday 8:00AM - 6:00PM / Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM

    + **Weekend Work:** None

    + **On Call:** No

    The Certified Medical Assistant is responsible for:

    + Responsible to provide basic patient care assistance to the physicians and ARNPs

    + Records and documents vital signs, patient weight and height

    + Performs non-intravenous injections

    + Assists with treatment plans, treatment plane reviews, outcomes, medication authorization overrides, follow-ups and referrals

    + Obtains information required for meaningful use.

    + Conducts face to face visits, handles medical service related telephone calls

    + Monitors and maintains inventory and equipment

    + Performs other duties as assigned

    Required Certification/Licensures:

    + BLS (Basic Life Support)

    + CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) -

    + FL Driver's License

    Required Education:

    + High School or Equivalent

    Preferred Experience:

    + 1 year – Behavioral Health
