    Job Description:

    TTI Consumer Power Tools, Inc., in the Upstate of South Carolina is hiring a **Safety Intern – Distribution Center (Spring or Summer 2025).**

    Position Overview:

    We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Safety Intern to join our team at a distribution center in the Upstate, SC area. This position offers hands-on experience in safety management, project management, and compliance. The intern will contribute to critical safety projects and gain exposure to a variety of safety practices within a fast-paced work environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + **Safety Training Support:**

    + Assist in developing and delivering safety training programs.

    + Organize and maintain training records and materials.

    + **Audits and Inspections:**

    + Conduct safety audits and facility inspections to identify hazards.

    + Document findings and recommend corrective actions.

    + **Behavior-Based Safety (BBS) Observations:**

    + Perform behavior-based safety observations.

    + Analyze data to identify trends and propose improvements.

    + **Program Organization and Documentation:**

    + Review and update written safety programs and policies.

    + Ensure documents are compliant with OSHA standards and company policies.

    + **Incident Investigation Support:**

    + Assist with incident investigations and reporting.

    + Help develop preventive measures based on findings.

    Qualifications:

    + Currently pursuing a degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Engineering, Environmental Health, or a related field.

    + Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

    + Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

    + Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

    + Previous experience in a safety-related role (preferred but not required).
