The Burn Manager is a nurse leader who possesses clinical expertise in the adult burn patient population; The ideal candidate will serve as the expert regarding inpatient and outpatient nursing care of the burn patient; develop, implement and evaluate clinical guidelines and educational programming; engage in burn outreach and community burn awareness and prevention activities and participate in burn research initiatives when applicable.

This individual provides leadership and direction of the operation, organization, administration and evaluation of the Burn Program. The Burn Manager works collaboratively with physicians, other nursing managers, and administrators to advise and coordinate the development and implementation of the burn program ensuring all regulatory requirements for ABA Burn Center accreditation are met. The Burn Manager is accountable for overseeing the development and implementation of methods to maintain and improve patient care and enhance staff development.
